Formed through the 2016 merger of Markit and IHS, IHS Markit became one of the world’s largest information services providers before being acquired by S&P Global in 2022. As Creative Director at IHS Markit, I played a key role in developing the post-merger brand, overseeing its integration across various product groups and design touchpoints. This included shaping the central brand identity and creating sales and marketing collateral, company website, product user interfaces, in-office branding, and global event materials. Over the six years that IHS Markit operated under this brand, its recognition grew significantly, culminating in the company’s $42 billion acquisition by S&P Global in 2022.
