Markit was widely recognized as one of the world’s leading financial data providers and one of the UK’s most successful startups, offering services that enhanced transparency, reduced financial risk, and improved efficiency, until its 2016 merger with IHS. As Senior Designer and later Creative Director at Markit, I played a pivotal role in creating and developing the company’s original brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and clarity across all touchpoints. Over the course of eight years, I implemented these guidelines across Markit's diverse product offerings and supported the integration of over 13 acquisitions and joint ventures. As the company grew from 300 to over 5,000 employees, I helped shape a cohesive brand identity that contributed to Markit's eventual merger with IHS, forming the new entity, IHS Markit.
