In-house Creative Direction for one of the world’s largest data providers, with responsibility for transitioning and aligning a new visual identity after the merger of Markit and IHS into a single entity, including the development of new guidelines and the design of a temporary website to promote the merger and educate clients on the new value proposition.
Oversight and mentoring for a team of designers across multiple locations and business lines. Establishing procedures and work flows to ensure the maintenance of consistency and standards. Working directly with senior marketing, sales and product managers to gather requirements and brief design teams. Creative direction of various global events, including CERA Week, World Petrochemical Conference, Explore Energy, Sibos and the Annual Customer Conferences.

Defining the design strategy for the promotion of the company IPO in June 2014, from email communications and website updates to the creation of an animation for the NASDAQ display in Times Square. Leading a team of in-house designers and design contractors and providing direction on maintaining and developing the company brand. Creative direction for an updated version of the company website to align with the post-IPO offering, leading to a 25-30% increase in traffic and increased sales leads. Creation of an online sales portal for the global Intranet to facilitate improved cross-team collaboration for sales and marketing employees.
